The Irish Club was officially opened by the Irish Ambassador to South Africa in November 2002. Since its opening, the club has been a huge success having hosted a Fleidh Ceoil and hosted many St Paddies Day celebrations.
Every Wednesday night we have a trivial quiz evening, and darts league on Wednesdays.
And indeed those not lucky enough to be graced with Irish fortune are encouraged to come in and enjoy a bit of "caint craic agus ceoil" (conversation, fun and music) as well as the best pint of Guinness in town. The Irish Club is always welcoming to anyone who wants to come and socialise, relax and have a good pint.
